Job Description: We are seeking a Help Desk Support Analyst to provide technical assistance to end users and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers. This role ensures that IT products, services, and applications are used effectively to support business objectives. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and application issues, managing user accounts and security access, and ensuring seamless IT support. The ideal candidate will be highly responsive, customer-focused, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to end users for computers, software, and applications.
  • Document and respond to user requests via phone, walk-up, email, or Help Desk system, track progress until resolution.
  • Administer user accounts, mailboxes, and security/distribution groups.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and peripherals.
  • Maintain and update Windows OS, desktop applications, patches, and anti-virus software.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues by engaging users through effective questioning and troubleshooting steps.
  • Assist in managing IT asset inventory.
  • Escalate unresolved application issues to the appropriate support teams.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of company software, business processes, and applications.
  • Participate in on-call rotations during evenings and weekends to address critical IT support needs.

Work Conditions:

  • Extended periods of sitting and working on a computer.
  • Frequent use of hands for typing and troubleshooting computer hardware.
  • Ability to lift and transport moderately heavy IT equipment.
  • On-call availability requiring remote access to company IT resources for critical support issues.

    Salary Range: $45,000 to $60,000 DOE


    Qualifications:

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    Education & Experience:

    • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience (2+ years in IT support).

    Technical Skills & Knowledge:

    • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
    • Experience in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and resolve issues efficiently under pressure.
    • Hands-on experience with:
      • Windows desktop and server environments
      • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
      • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Security, and Group Policy Objects oExchange and mobile messaging (ActiveSync)
      • IT Help Desk ticketing systems oAnti-virus and security applications 
    • Preferred but not required:
      • Experience with VMware, VDI Environment, Cisco Unified Call Manager, SharePoint, and Apple iOS devices
    • Soft Skills:
      • Quick learner with strong problem-solving abilities.
      • Ability to communicate technical information in a user-friendly manner.
      • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
