Economic Development Districts (EDDs) Mile Marker 101 and 103: Within the boundaries of LEDA-administered EDDs, public incentives may be available for qualified development and redevelopment projects with a demonstrable economic impact and community benefits.

Building and Sites: One of the most valuable assets Lafayette Parish offers business is an abundance of available property, office or retail space, industrial sites, and land ready for development.

Retail Ready Program: Aims to catalyze economic growth and enhance community development by focusing on prime sites suitable for restaurant, entertainment, and retail development.

Elevate North Lafayette: Addresses economic revitalization and redevelopment in North Lafayette and other distressed parts of Lafayette Parish through on-going education on identifying and executing small-scale development projects.

Evangeline Corridor Forward: The Evangeline Corridor Economic Action Plan builds on a year-long process of targeted stakeholder and community engagement, economic and technical research, and urban design and planning, along the proposed I-49 Connector in Lafayette.

Small Business Success Center at Holy Rosary: LEDA’s Small Business Success Center will be built on the historic Holy Rosary grounds, where Holy Rosary Redevelopment has led the effort to attract new investment to the roughly 40-acre campus. The Center will bring together the partners and resources that Main Street businesses, microenterprises and solo entrepreneurs need to start, finance and grow a business. LEDA and its partners expect it to bring daily activity, visitors and investor confidence to the site and spur further development on campus and in surrounding North Lafayette neighborhoods.
