Position Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform procedures to repair, maintain, and inspect hardbanded pipe by utilizing relevant equipment in a safe and effective manner.
• Plan, coordinate, and direct daily job duties with Inspector Helpers
• Train, direct, and oversee Inspector Helpers on job related duties
• Maintain accurate reporting on equipment being repaired and inspected
• Ensure that all specs and procedures are adhered to
• Ensure that equipment used for hardbanding is in good working condition and inspection equipment is calibrated
• Read and interpret specifications and procedures
• Interpret and record results of inspection and hardband application. Assign status to productions based on interpretations.  Determine utility of equipment
• Perform and record nondestructive examination using magnetic particle, and visual methods
• Perform sampling of applicable processes. Prepare and conduct appropriate tests and inspections on samples, as applicable
• Follow and adhere to all Quality System and HS&E requirements
• Communicate job status with Facility Inspection Manager and all parties involved
