Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and help develop compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, bonuses, and stock options
  • Ensure alignment of compensation package within the Company's goals
  • Evaluate job positions to determine appropriate compensation levels
  • Compare the organization's compensation practices against competitors
  • Prepare and communicate various financial reports and key statistics monthly
  • Make sure compensation practices comply with federal and state laws
  • Work closely with internal departments to understand the impact of compensation decisions and aggregate data on an entity level
  • Exercise confidentiality, discretion, and sound judgement in performance of duties
  • Reconcile employee bonus compensation plans and payments to ensure accuracy
  • Utilize excel-based reporting to build commission models and calculate commission payments
  • Maintain schedule and process flow documents to account for all paid bonus/commission payments for all
  • VieMed companies, through collaboration with multiple departments including Sales, Operations, Sleep/Respiratory, Clinical Operations, etc.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual bonus/commission payments and review for accuracy by utilizing company bonus/commission schedules; submit to payroll for processing
  • Coordinate with Accounting to ensure completeness of data used to calculate monthly, quarterly and annual bonus and commission payments
  • Summarize and present monthly, quarterly and annual accrual results to the accounting department
  • Maintain payroll system general ledger
  • Coordinate annual financial and SOX controls audit with internal and external parties
  • Prepare audit deliverables on a timely basis and participate in process walkthroughs with internal finance team and external auditors clearly communicating process risks and controls
  • Other responsibilities and projects as assigned


Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources or a related field
  • Ability to understand the laws and regulations affecting compensation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written to interact knowledgeably with internal and external parties
  • Ability to partner effectively with all internal business lines


Access to Protected Health Information (PHI):

  • This position will require the employee to handle Protected Health Information (PHI) for duties related to document and report preparation.
  • Policies and procedures will be strictly adhered to make sure PHI is protected as required by the HIPAA Privacy Rule


Working Conditions:

  • This position will work in an office environment.
