Description:

• The Wax team creates and refines high-quality wax patterns for the lost-wax casting process.
• They use a variety of handheld tools, similar to dental instruments, to shape wax and plastic injections from molds.
• They will inspect the quality of pieces and remove any flaws from the patterns.
• The separate wax and plastic pieces are combined onto a common sprue rod to create a tree-like structure also used in the lost-wax casting process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Expedite workflow from various departments for test batches, customer recast, & internal orders
• Ensure accurate matching of requested products for production
• Process fill lines accurately for specific order requirements
• Create batches for lost wax casting process
• Perform manual paper processing operations necessary to fulfill daily work operations
• Weigh trees for casting and track using our Oracle, the inventory management system

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately & efficiently
• Proficient eyesight capable of detecting minor flaws

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional years of experience in wax casting
