Position Description:

• This role can be performed from the following locations: Atlanta GA, Cleveland OH, Columbus OH, Dallas TX, Knoxville TN, Lafayette LA, or Pittsburgh PA.
• CGI is seeking a skilled Visual Basic Forms Developer to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have experience designing, developing, and maintaining forms using Visual Basic (VB6 and/or VB.NET) and Windows Forms.
• The developer will work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to create user-friendly forms that meet business needs.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Windows-based forms using Visual Basic (VB6/VB.NET) and Windows Forms.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
• Enhance and optimize existing forms for improved performance and user experience.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in forms.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for forms and processes.
• Stay updated on best practices and emerging technologies in forms development

Qualifications:

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• 3 years minimum of proven experience in Visual Basic (VB6 and/or VB.NET) development.
• Proficiency in Windows Forms (WinForms) application development.
• Familiarity with source control systems (Git, TFS, or SVN).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
