We are seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Sales Consultant to join our ERP Sales team. This role combines technical expertise with strong sales skills to help clients understand our products and solutions, ensuring they meet their business needs. This role focuses on nurturing existing client relationships and generating new business opportunities for our cutting-edge ERP offerings
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Solution Evangelism & Demos
- Deliver compelling technical product demonstrations of CGI Advantage to state and local government clients.
- Build and maintain demo environments across sample use cases for cities, counties, states, and K-12.
- Showcase CGI Advantage technical differentiators to best position the platform against our competition.
- Presales & RFP/RFI Support
- Lead presales discovery sessions with prospective clients to capture requirements and map them to CGI Advantage technical solutions.
- Draft and coordinate responses to RFPs/RFIs, including compliance checklists, and narratives.
- Develop win themes using competitor analysis and positioning of CGI Advantage SaaS.
- Solution Design & Integrations
- Collaborate with clients to define use cases, and integrations with Advantage and third-party systems.
- Translate business requirements into solution blueprints leveraging CGI Advantage and PowerBI.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the trusted advisor to client stakeholders—CIOs, program managers, and IT leaders.
- Partner with CGI Product Management and Engineering teams to bring client feedback into the CGI Advantage roadmap.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $51,400.00 - $113,100.00.

Salary Range: $51,400 - $113,100
Qualifications:
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- 5 + years of proven experience in Technical Sales or similar role, ERP solution sales, preferably in commercial or public sector environments.
- Strong understanding of ERP solutions (e.g., Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, CGI Advantage, CGI Momentum, etc.) & Cloud Solutions.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, business-focused solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation skills, Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing client relationships that lead to significant bookings.
- Understanding of systems integration, managed services, and IT consulting.
- Ability to confidently engage with senior-level stakeholders and drive strategic conversations.
- Willingness to manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation through closing and post-sale engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
