  • The role of the SysOps Help Desk Associate is to provide tier 1 support for hardware and software issues to all corporate users.
  • This involves assisting with technical inquiries, troubleshooting problems, and resolving common issues, ensuring that systems are properly set up and maintained.
  • For more complex issues, the Help Desk Associate will escalate tickets to the appropriate teams for further resolution while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring timely resolution. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Primarily to cover core hours, although there may be a requirement to cover outside of normal office hours 
  • Document solutions and ensure others are informed of changes and developments 
  • Handling and resolving tier 1 support issues, while efficiently escalating more complex problems to the appropriate teams for further resolution. 


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft and Apple operating systems 
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer service skills and patience 
  • Pleasant phone skills and demeanor 
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively 


Work Environment/Physical Demands:

  • Minimum manual labor is involved, ability to lift up to 40 pounds
