Description:

• Join our Manufacturing team — production, assembly, operation of equipment, and more — and help us deliver an unmatched selection of products made with quality materials and workmanship.
• The Stone Setting department is responsible for polishing, engraving, plating, and setting stones, demanding high dexterity, concentration, and attention to detail to ensure the quality of each piece. 
• We are seeking a skilled Stone Setting Metal Smith who can maintain 80% efficiency in one of the following specialized skill sets: Precision Assembler, Precision Fitter, or Precision Polisher.
• This role requires exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and proficiency in various tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Precision Assembler:

• Achieve 80% efficiency with 3% or lower touch-ups and recasts.
• Operate a Hydro-Flux torch proficiently and set gauges to the correct solder amount.
• Exhibit precise heat control and use a mini torch for detailed soldering.
• Operate a laser to repair metal defects and tack parts before torch assembly.
• Proficient in mx wheel operation and preparing pieces to the highest quality.
• Remove spruing with the air dine and identify the correct paste solder for the injector.
• Use the Joyal Tacker and modify probes for each piece.
• Proficiently use handheld and Flex-Shaft tools.

Precision Finisher:

• Achieve 80% efficiency with 3% or lower touch-ups and recasts.
• Operate the Lap Machine to bring pieces to a high polish using appropriate rouge.
• Use buffers and stamping machines to polish and stamp pieces to quality standards.
• Polish the inside of rings and operate machines for final finishing.

Precision Fitter:

• Achieve 80% efficiency with 3% or lower touch-ups and recasts.
• Operate the Belt Sander and MX wheel to detail pieces to high standards.
• Perform rotary filing, sanding, and use rubber wheels for high-quality finishes.
• Operate the Inside Sander to sand the inside of rings and use flex-shaft and handheld tools.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Relevant experience in metalworking, precision assembly, or finishing.
