Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium/Serenity (Java) and Playwright
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA peers to refine user stories and define test strategies
• Execute functional, regression, and end-to-end tests across web applications and APIs
• Log, track, and triage defects; work with teams to ensure timely resolution
• Participate in sprint ceremonies, product demos, and production deployment verifications
• Leverage GitHub Copilot and other generative AI tools to enhance test coverage and efficiency
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth integration of automated tests
• Support BDD practices and contribute to Gherkin-based test scenarios

Qualifications:

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• At least 10+ years proven experience in QA Engineering and Software Development
• Hands-on expertise with Selenium/Serenity (Java) and Playwright
• Strong understanding of software development principles, coding standards, and design patterns
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and CI/CD workflows
• Exposure to BDD frameworks; Gherkin experience is a plus
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with generative AI tools like GitHub Copilot
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerized environments
• Passion for automation-first testing and continuous learning
• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
