Sheet Technicians handle advanced metal fabrication operations, playing a vital role in servicing and assisting with the breakdown of precious metal materials for these finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow safety protocols during repetitive fabrication tasks, maintaining constant attention to prevent injuries.
Perform routine tasks such as lifting and positioning metal for shearing operations as part of the fabrication process.
Ensure work areas are clean and organized, accurately transferring materials according to process routing.
Operate basic equipment for billet breakdown and pre-finishing, adhering to specified tolerances.
Utilize mathematical calculations for material segregation and assist in production setups.
Operate advanced equipment, including wire drawing and power turk roll changes.
Maintain precise finished gauge tolerances and ensure material quality segregation.
Demonstrate a basic understanding of metallurgical properties relevant to the fabrication process.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to comprehend and use measuring devices effectively.
Mathematical aptitude for calculations related to material segregation and production setups.
Capable of standing for extended periods.
Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift between 50-75 pounds.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
