Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver with a strong technical background and a passion for innovative design. This role will contribute to a variety of exciting and challenging projects, from initial concept to final implementation.

Responsibilities

    • Oversee engineering teams designing structural and mechanical specifications around large industrial equipment.
    • Create and oversee engineering teams engineering detailed 2D and 3D models, fabrication drawings, and technical documentation using CAD software.
    • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other engineers to understand project requirements and deliver effective solutions.
    • Ensure all designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, from conceptual design and feasibility studies to prototyping, testing, and final production.
    • Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project execution.
    • Contribute to our culture of continuous improvement by staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Salary Range: $90,000


Qualifications:

Qualifications

    • ABET Accredited 4-Year Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.).
    • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to manage engineering teams across multiple projects and meet deadlines.
    • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. We do not sponsor employment visas now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
    • PE license in the State of Louisiana preferred, PE pursuit acceptable.
    • Experience in industrial processing equipment, such as, but not limited to: P&IDs, pressure vessel design, skid & piping design, or similar.
    • Experience with project management and consulting.
    • Knowledge of industry-specific codes and standards.
