Position: Route Helper

Department: Sales

Status: Regular full-time

Work Days/Hours: Monday – Friday. 5 a.m. until assigned duties have been completed.

Typical workday is 10 – 12 hours long.

Duties:

• Assists route driver with the delivery and merchandising of products.

Qualifications:

Requirements: 

• Minimum 21 years of age. Must have Louisiana driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Must have no known reason why a DOT physical could not be passed and a CDL license not obtained.
• Must be able to communicate successfully with Company personnel and co-workers.
• Merchandising and customer service skills.
• Must be able to read and count; walk, stand, stretch, bend, climb; safely and repetitively lift, carry, and stack product weighing up to 43 lbs. on a repetitive basis throughout work shift and up to 48 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be certified to operate a powered pallet jack.
• Must be able to operate a handtruck and a manual pallet jack with a load of up to 800 lbs.
• Must be able to efficiently and effectively perform activities under strict time constraints.
