As a radiologic technologist, you'll operate advanced medical imaging equipment such as X-ray, CT, MRI, and mammography machines to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physicians. Your daily responsibilities include positioning patients correctly, adjusting equipment settings, ensuring radiation safety protocols, maintaining detailed patient records, and providing compassionate care to patients who may be anxious or in pain. You'll work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. This role requires completion of an accredited radiologic technology program, state licensure, and offers opportunities for specialization and career advancement within the medical imaging field.


Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or certificate from an ARRT-accredited radiologic technology program
  • Current state licensure and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, positioning techniques, and radiation safety protocols
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and care
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining attention to detail
