The Quality Management Product Specialist is responsible for auditing inventory and returned products to identify and resolve quality concerns originating from customer contact. This role manages Salesforce Quality cases assigned to the Quality Management queue and works cross-functionally with Inventory, Logistics, Returns, and Stuller Studio to retrieve, inspect, and disposition products. The Product Specialist performs detailed inspections using precision tools and collaborates with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure all products meet Stuller’s quality standards while supporting customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect products from Inventory and Returns to ensure compliance with Stuller quality standards.
- Retrieve and return work throughout the day from departments including Returns, Logistics, and Stuller Studio for quality review.
- Use inspection tools such as microscopes, loupes, OptiVisors, calipers, and mandrels to evaluate and measure jewelry products.
- Photograph products and document inspection findings within Salesforce Quality cases.
- Determine appropriate disposition of items, including return to inventory, repair, or scrap.
- Fill replacement orders using inventory items that have passed quality inspection.
- Update order routings to ensure Quality Management review prior to shipment when required.
- Provide final review and approval of jobs flagged for Quality Management across departments, including cases related to high-profile accounts.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts throughout the organization to support detailed product evaluations.
- Communicate inspection results and resolutions through Salesforce, email, Microsoft Teams, and telephone.
- Monitor the Quality Management dashboard in Salesforce and actively drive each case to resolution.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualitfications:
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage daily priorities efficiently
- Effective problem-solver who leverages available resources to determine appropriate solutions
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong focus on product quality and customer satisfaction
- Working knowledge of Salesforce
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across multiple platforms, including Salesforce, email, Microsoft Teams, and phone
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of jewelry products with an understanding of manufacturing processes
- Ability to identify jewelry defects visually using a loupe, OptiVisor, or microscope
- Proficiency in Oracle or similar ERP systems
