BackQuality Engineer

Role and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementing, maintaining, and monitoring the effectiveness of the company Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Ensure product and process adherence to company/ industry quality standards
- Author quality standards, process controls, and inspection/ test methods.
- Inspect and test incoming materials, equipment, processes, and products to assure quality specifications are met.
- Customer advocate! Partner with production and engineering teams to find issue resolutions, while maintaining compliance, and minimizing production downtime.
- Responsible for leading comprehensive product and process nonconformance investigations/ CAPAs/ RCCAs; must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting techniques.
- Deploy internal audit program devised to meet/ exceed ISO 9001 requirements; facilitate external quality audits.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of inspection and test methodologies and criteria across all functional departments.
- Establish, monitor, analyze and report on quality performance.
- Administer quality training that targets/ eliminates recurring quality issues.
- Supervise, train, and develop personnel; promote a safe work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- BS in Chemical, Mechanical, and Industrial Engineering, or relevant field Previous work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role.
- Hands-on experience deploying Quality Management Systems (QMS), and inspection and test methodologies.
- Comprehensive understanding of document control systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Quality assurance certifications a plus.
