Role and Responsibilities:

• Ability to track the progress of projects, interacting with and following up with the individual progress of multiple team members
• Project Engineering Technician needs to have excellent problem-solving skills to understand and resolve issues that arise throughout a project
• Communicates regularly with customers, operations personnel, management, and administration regarding the status of projects and initiatives
• Obtains management guidance and approval as required to advance initiatives
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• 2-year degree attained or at least 2 years of coursework towards a 4-year degree
• Progress towards an engineering, drafting, or other similar technical degree preferred
• Proficient with MS Office Suite, primarily Excel
• Statistical analysis skills
• Experience with AutoCAD or other CAD software and ability to learn AutoCAD
• Strong attention to detail required
• Interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate in a team environment
• Skilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications
• Understanding of mechanical systems and related technology
• Verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools strongly desired
• Experience in technical writing
