Position Description:
- CGI is seeking to hire a Project Manager in support of our strategic Health Care Client.
- In this role, you will be the driving force behind the successful execution of large-scale, cross-functional projects aimed at mitigating organizational risk and maximizing strategic opportunities.
- You will oversee all phases of the project management lifecycle for complex, high-risk projects, typically spanning 6-18 months and often involving collaboration with external vendors.
- This is a Full Time Employment opportunity based in the US where there is a CGI Office.
- Preferred locations are: Boston, MA, Lafayette, LA and Knoxville, TN in a Hybrid Model.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Drive successful execution of large-scale, cross-functional projects.
- Mitigate organizational risk and maximize strategic opportunities.
- Manage all phases of project lifecycle for complex, high-risk projects.
- Implement project management tools and methodologies.
- Evaluate cost and feasibility of multiple options to resolve project issues.
- Manage project budgets.
- Organize teams across business and technology.
- Develop relationships and navigate political issues.
- Perform strategic analysis and risk mitigation.
- Proactively identify conflict and integration issues.
- Remove obstacles by anticipating challenges.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- 10-15 years of project management experience.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in process management.
- Proven Risk Management experience; ability to identify, assess and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Experience with CQI, TQM, PDCA, PMBOK, or other formal improvement techniques.
- Proven track record of meeting project deadlines with successful outcomes.
- Experience interacting and presenting weekly to leadership (VP, SVP, CXO),
Desired skills:
- Prior Heath Care Payor business and/or health insurance operations experience desired
- Experience with Affordability of Care (AOC) and Total Cost of Care (TCOC) desired
Education:
- Bachelor s degree or relevant experience (advanced degree preferred)
