Key Responsibilities 

  • Supervise daily production activities across drone assembly, calibration, and testing stations. 
  • Ensure production schedules, targets, and quality metrics are consistently achieved. 
  • Train, coach, and oversee production team members, maintaining a focus on safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement. 
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve production issues and implement corrective actions. 
  • Oversee production documentation, work orders, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). 
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Materials Management to prevent shortages or delays. 
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) and process changes by ensuring production readiness. 
  • Lead efforts to improve workflow efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize throughput. 
  • Enforce safety compliance and participate in regular audits and safety meetings. 
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to leadership and recommend process improvements. 


Qualifications:

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • 5+ years of production or manufacturing supervision experience, preferably in electronics, aerospace, or advanced technology assembly. 
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with proven ability to manage and motivate teams. 
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies. 
  • Familiarity with ERP or MES systems for tracking production performance. 
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in drone, UAV, or aerospace assembly environments. 
  • Technical understanding of electronic components, wiring, and calibration processes. 
  • Experience in ISO 9001 or AS9100 manufacturing environments. 
  • Knowledge of ESD-safe handling, testing procedures, and quality control metrics. 
  • Proven success in implementing process improvements or automation initiatives.
