Responsibilities for Supervisor

• Create a weekly or bi-weekly schedule for employees, bearing in mind holidays and times of high volume for the business
• Monitor and supervise the timely arrival of scheduled employees
• Help create and continuously improve work procedures and policies
• Establish tasks for each employee/team to ensure a clean and safe workplace, this included but not limited to stocking and inventory supplies and storing finished product accordingly
• Ensure company goals and objectives are being met by each employee and provide feedback
• Actively seek to resolve any concerns while adhering to the company policy and standards of behavior
• Compile and track data to continuously improve quality and reach production goals
• Hold weekly meetings to help ensure employee understanding of company policies
• Complete Weekly and Monthly inventory checks
• Ensure Quality Control documentation is completed and filed

Qualifications:

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in management or other relevant industry field is preferred
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience in a lead role
• Extensive knowledge of management theory and its practical applications in the workplace
• Experience overseeing yearly training plans for departments within the company
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and other departments
• Experience analyzing company needs, employee development and goal setting
• Strong understanding of business goals and standards for customer service
• Instructional experience in a group business setting preferred
• Proficient using Microsoft Suite, Excel, Power Point, and other data entry software
• Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple company initiatives simultaneously
