Position Summary:
- Under the direction of the Processing Supervisor, the Processing Technician - Supply Lead position is a key role requiring an enthusiastic self-starter with a strong drive to improve existing processes and systems. Excellent organizational skills, ability to balance immediate/ long term priorities and exceptional multitasking skills are a necessity.
- Key objectives are inventory movements, management of production supplies, and check-in/ receipt of supplies.
Essential Functions of the Areas of Responsibility:
- Perform the following in accordance with AATB, FDA, and Tides Medical stated policies and procedures while upholding Tides Medical’s mission and corporate values:
- Utilizing existing SOPs, execute upon all shipping/ receiving tasks in a timely manner.
- Organize and maintain supply room inventory levels as required.
- Work on cross-functional teams to effectively engage key stakeholders to best advance supply chain initiatives that support the company’s strategic objectives.
- Proactively report material availability issues to management.
- Balance inventory levels and space constraints.
- Monitor and update Supply Chain management as needed for returns and other supply issues.
- Perform additional functions of a Processing Technician I to support production when needed. Additional functions include processing and packaging of human tissue products for transplantation. Sterile and non-sterile activities include dissections, washing, cutting, labeling, etc., in a controlled environment in accordance with established procedures and regulated guidelines.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.

- Efficient time management, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment; ability to complete tasks on time.
- Strong computer literacy – MS Office (specifically Excel) and other ERP systems preferred.
- Uphold confidentiality of employee records, donor records, and proprietary corporate information

Education, Experience, and Competencies:
- 2+ Years experience in manufacturing or similar environment
- Associate’s degree in applicable fields such as supply chain management, engineering, operations, etc.
- Demonstrated history of working cooperatively in a team environment
- A valid drivers’ license with an insurable [clean] driving record
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; excellent attention to detail and experience coordinating multiple activities.
- Preferred experience in Purchasing and/or Supply Management
- Preferred experience working in a regulated industry (FDA, FAA, Automotive)
Work Environment:
- The work environment for this position may vary depending on the nature of projects and specific areas within the company assigned.
- This environment may be in manufacturing which can include cleanrooms and other support areas.
Physical Demands Include:
- Must be able to stand for 3 hours at a time.
- Accessing controlled environments and wearing associated PPE.
- Must be able to list a minimum of 25lbs.
- Must be able to write clearly and legibly.
Mental Demands Include:
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
Environmental Demands Include:
- Must be able to complete tasks independently.
