  • The Parts Sales and Customer Service Representative ensures excellent service standards and high customer satisfaction are being achieved to our internal and external customers.
  • As a member of the Customer Service team, this position supports the marketing of Ditch Witch® equipment and parts by establishing and maintaining positive business relationships with existing and potential customers and vendors.
  • The employee also performs other duties as needed or assigned.
  • Assisting customers and service technicians with their parts and service needs will be a primary focus of this position.
  • Responsible for loading and unloading deliveries.
  • This position performs safety-sensitive functions, including but not limited to, the operation of motor vehicles, other vehicles, equipment, machinery and power tools. •Performing daily reports, creating and receiving parts purchase orders.  
  • Assist with continuous improvement ideas and directives from both departments and management.
  • Effectively pulls, packages and/or ships parts for orders received from customers or the service department for work orders.
  • Provides product and service information, resolves customer issues in a financially, timely and responsible manner.
  • Generates parts orders from emails, faxes, telephone calls, and notes in a timely manner.
  • Check-Ins of customer equipment coming into the shop for service work by verifying serial numbers, number of hours on the machine and warranty details.
  • Writing up or creating a work order in the Intellidealer system effectively verifying proper tax codes, customer information and clearly noting the service needs.
  • Preparation of preliminary work order invoices for service manager review to verify proper tax codes, service technician time rates, etc.
  • Communication with customers regarding completion of service work, acquiring payment for said services and completion of delivery tickets when machine is picked up from the service department by the customer.
  • Keep work area, warehouse and outside inventory stocking locations, neat and organized.
  • Organize and clean inventory as needed.
  • Builds sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
  • Establishes and maintains excellent relationships with customers, clients, supervisors, and coworkers – through positive attitude, professionalism and proactive communication.
  • Performing daily forklift inspections and moving lifts in/out of warehouse to start and end the day.
  • Assists with inventory management of the warehouse as needed.
  • Alternating on call responsibilities for nights and weekends.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude while working in demanding situations; consistently exhibit a "customer service oriented" manner in dealing with people.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment choosing the best overall solution to serve customer’s needs
  • Demonstrate effective communications skills by telephone, in person and in writing.
  • Experienced in essential computer programs- including CDK, IntelliDealer, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Self-motivating, high productivity, ability to learn new skills, and reliable in areas of attendance, attention to quality with a cordial, cooperative personality.
  • Willing to work extra hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Bilingual Ability highly preferred, English required and Spanish desired.
  • Mechanical aptitude preferred.
  • Inventory experience a plus.
