Position Overview:

Broussard, David & Moroux is a top personal injury law firm based in downtown Lafayette with offices in Greater New Orleans that offers potential for advancement, annual salary increases, holiday bonuses, generous holiday schedule and competitive benefits for employees. We are currently seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our legal team in the Lafayette office. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a passion for helping others, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in all aspects of personal injury cases
• Manage and organize case files
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel
• Prepare discovery requests and responses, letters, and requests for documents (including medical records)
• Schedule and coordinate depositions, mediations, court appearances, and client meetings
• Other relevant responsibilities, as necessary

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Basic accounting skills
• At least 5 years of personal injury secretarial or paralegal experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe
• Passionate about helping others and dedicated to excellence
