Description:

  • We’re seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Assistant Product Manager to support the end-to-end product lifecycle.
  • This role is ideal for someone passionate about product sourcing, jewelry trends, and retail strategy.
  • You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our product assortment aligns with both customer needs and business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Lifecycle Support
    • Assist in managing the product development process from concept to final production.
    • Coordinate with product managers and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
    • Support seasonal line planning and assortment building based on market trends, sales data, and customer insights.
  • Merchandising & Assortment
    • Analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and customer feedback to recommend assortment changes.
    • Collaborate on pricing, positioning, and promotional strategies to optimize sell-through.
    • Maintain accurate product data and documentation, including SKUs, product attributes, and vendor information.
  • Market & Trend Research
    • Monitor competitor activity and global market trends to help inform product strategy.
    • Conduct research to identify gaps and opportunities in the assortment.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Act as a key liaison between Product, Marketing, Procurement, and Operations teams.
    • Assist in preparing product presentations and materials for internal reviews and buyer meetings.
  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Prepare weekly and monthly merchandising reports, sales recaps, and post-mortems.
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sell-through, margin, and inventory turnover.


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field. 
  • 1–3 years of experience in merchandising, product development, retail buying, or planning.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for product, trends, and the customer experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Business Intelligence software (Microstrategy, Power BI, etc.)
  • Background in diamonds, gemstones, fine jewelry, or procurement.
  • Knowledge of retail math and financial metrics.
