Job Overview:

• We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Paralegal to join our team in the Lafayette office.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury medical record and case management or similar experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Request, review and organize medical records and bills;
• Serve as liaison between clients and medical providers;
• Enter data from medical records and billing reports into case management software;
• Request and document liens from health insurers and medical providers;
• Assist in organizing medical damage evidence for litigation; and
• Other relevant responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of medical case management or personal injury experience preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• A passion for fighting to obtain justice by helping people recover from life-changing losses
