BackMaterial Handler – Production Receiving – Night Shift

What this job is all about:
The Material Handler - Production Receiving is responsible for the movement of items and/or material within the Warehouse and documenting the movement of said items and/or material.
In this job, you’ll do things like:
- Inventory Recognition: Open batch at the start of production runs; Receive inventory into system as it is produced; Print labels and tag pallets with item information; Verify batch as orders are completed; Monitor the pallets needed and communicate with the drivers to maintain accurate build out of production batches; Perform changeovers on the palletizer to ensure the product is built correctly on different style pallets; Assist with palletizer faults and issues; Help to maintain product flow to the palletizer decks
- Material Handler: Safely and effectively operates a forklift to move finished pallets of product from the palletizer to the Shrink wrap machines; Safely and effectively operates a forklift to move wrapped and tagged pallets to proper storage location; Keep the palletizers stocked with proper pallets for batches; Assist in palletizer issues as time allows; Assist in filling the raw materials for product completion stages
- Floater: Assist in palletizer changeovers; Assist in palletizer issues; Assist in the transportation of finished products to proper storage area; Hand stack pallets that have been built wrong; Troubleshoot equipment issues (palletizer, shrink machines, etc); Keep all raw materials (shrink, corner boards, slip sheets, etc) bins full for product completion stages.

Qualifications:
Must-haves to apply for this job:
- Physically able to perform essential job functions.
- Ability to pass forklift training
What will give you an edge:
- 2+ years warehouse or relevant work experience
- Experience working in computerized production and inventory systems with accurate and timely data entry, or the ability to learn a computerized system/paperwork quickly
