What this job is all about:

This role is responsible for the safe and accurate receipt of finished goods from production lines, while transporting, storing, and recording finished products within the warehouse inventory system.

In this job, you’ll do things like:

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and palletizer equipment safely
  • Verify lot numbers, labeling, and traceability for all production receipts
  • Handle finished goods to prevent contamination, damage, or mislabeling
  • Follow appropriate stacking procedures during storage to prevent product damage 
  • Receive finished goods under the correct batch with accurate lot, quantity, and location details
  • Perform RF transfers to assigned storage locations
  • Perform Item queries in Oracle to check quantities and locations to confirm accurate transactions 
  • Know how to print production schedule to identify order/batch pallet requirements
  • Maintain palletizer infeed per batch specific requirements
  • Identify correct pallet type, pattern, and quantity for each batch
  • Install corner boards, slip sheets, and additional packaging supports as required
  • Determine appropriate shrink wrap method based on product and export requirements
  • Transport finished goods from palletizer to shrink wrap and into designated storage locations

Qualifications:

Must-haves to apply for this job:

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Physically able to perform essential job functions.
  • Must be able to lift and move equipment or materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and other departments.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic math and documentation skills
  • Possess basic computer skills (Outlook, Oracle, MS Teams) and the ability to learn production and warehouse systems and processes

What will give you an edge:

  • 1+ year of warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience 
  • Forklift or powered industrial truck experience (or ability to become certified) 
  • 1+ year Experience working with inventory systems or production documentation 
  • Familiarity with GMP or food manufacturing environments
