What this job is all about:

The Mash Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the management of personnel, equipment, processes, and materials of the Mash Warehouse to ensure all KPIs and goals are met to provide Blending and FOF areas with the necessary materials to meet production goals.  They will oversee inventory management, scheduling, budgeting, and project management of the unit.  

In this job, you’ll do things like:

  • Supervise all team members within the mash warehouse to ensure safety while working to maximize labor efficiency and streamline barrel reclamation, mash preparation and off-loading, storage, inventory and movement of mash. 
  • Maintain and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Resolve issues with personnel, equipment, or materials.
  • Work with Advantage Resourcing for temporary staffing needs. 
  • Track, measure, and drive results based on KPIs and other specific performance data.
  • Manage and schedule shipment from the grower and LSP for unloading rail cars of mash.
  • Create receipts and adjust mash inventory levels within Oracle
  • Complete quarterly physical inventories 
  • Prepare annual budget with other team members and monitor cost centers and projects for success.  
  • Assist with tours and Mash tastings.

Qualifications:

Must-haves to apply for this job:

  • 3+ years working in Mash Warehouse or similar environment
  • Basic maintenance knowledge of equipment  
  • Must be able to pass forklift training. 
  • Must have ability to drive trucks and move tankers. 
  • Demonstrate communication, people, leadership, and reporting skills. 
  • Demonstrate managerial skills and aptitude for problem solving.

What will give you an edge:

  • Experience working with Oracle or other ERP system
  • Background, training, or experience in Lean Management Systems 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, Engineering, Business Management, or related field
