What this job is all about:
- This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
- The Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with Department Managers to drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives across all manufacturing operations.
- Additionally, the Manufacturing Engineer will collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of production lines and compliance with safety regulations.
In this job, you’ll do things like:
- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes and equipment to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions, Innovation and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process flow diagrams.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all manufacturing activities.
- Provide technical support and training to production personnel on process and equipment operation.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives to drive operational excellence.
- Support the maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment and instrumentation.
- Lead and manage various projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.

Qualifications:
Must-haves to apply for this job:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process improvement techniques.
- Experience with project management methodologies, tools, and software to lead and manage continuous improvement projects.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to identify root causes and implement effective solutions to improve manufacturing processes.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, standards, and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proven ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of an organization and to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
What will give you an edge:
- Experience in food manufacturing Industry
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- Experience with Automation, Robotics, IoT, and Industry 4.0 technologies can be a plus.
- Familiarity with Total Quality Management (TQM), and similar frameworks.
