Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the department
• Monitor and manage the daily production schedule to ensure on-time shipments
• Provide daily guidance and direction to the production personnel and maintain a positive environment
• Communicate clear expectations to production personnel
• Monitor attendance, punctuality and start/stop times during break
• Maintain safe and clean work environment and equipment
• Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order
• Ensure the department is continuously producing quality products
• Promote and enforce compliance to all company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Education: High school or equivalent (Required)
• Experience: Management: 3 years (Required)
• ERP systems: 2 years (Preferred)
• Manufacturing: 2 years (Required)
• Ability to Commute: Scott, LA 70583 (Required)

Skills and Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a management / leadership role in a manufacturing and assembly environment
• 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
• Some machining operation experience
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer skills
• ISO / API Quality System knowledge required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
