What this job is all about:
The Mash Unit Operator is responsible for receiving incoming pepper mash, transferring mash to appropriate containers, and repairing, cleaning, preparing, and moving containers to be used in storing mash.
In this job, you’ll do things like:
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safety Policies, and all other company standards
- Maintain cleanliness of workspace and assigned tools and equipment
- Work effectively in one or more area of Mash Warehouse: repairing barrels, unloading pepper mash bags, capping and uncapping barrels, and loading trucks for sauce making
- Clean barrels, rework barrels, match barrels and lids together, and close barrels and apply salt layer.
- Move barrels to and from the repair area and mash receiving area
- Work in a warehouse/production environment and must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time throughout assigned shifts

Qualifications:
Must-haves to apply for this job:
- Physically able to perform essential job functions including lifting up to 50-80 lbs throughout a shift and/or standing for long periods of time
- Capable of learning to run multiple manufacturing machines
What will give you an edge:
- High School diploma or GED
- 2+ years production line or manufacturing experience
