The Machine Tool Operations team powers precision and productivity – expertly running and maintaining manual and automatic jewelry equipment, driving smart efficiency upgrades, ensuring WIP accountability, and keeping everything running at peak performance.

The Machine Operator plays a key role in our jewelry manufacturing process by operating and maintaining both manual and automated machinery. This position ensures consistent quality and productivity across multiple areas of production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain various types of manual and automatic equipment used in jewelry manufacturing
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance
  • Monitor and maintain accountability for work-in-progress (WIP) materials
  • Crosstrain in multiple departments to support shifting production needs
  • Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safety-first work environment
  • Offer feedback to improve operational efficiency and workflow


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery
  • Proficient in basic math
  • Ability to use measuring tools accurately
  • Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or jewelry production environment
  • Training or certification in machinery operation and maintenance
  • Familiarity with workplace safety standards and procedures
  • Experience with inventory tracking or job accountability systems
  • Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Work Environment / Physical Demands

  • This role requires standing for extended periods and working in a manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery and production materials.
