Essential Functions of the Areas of Responsibility

  • Information Technology
    • Lead and participate in IT projects.
    • Install, configure, and maintain employee Windows and macOS workstations.
    • Manage user and computer accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Intune, Jamf, and related systems.
    • Support network connectivity using Unifi, Broadcom Velocloud SD-WAN, and Fortigate cloud firewall. 
    • Assist in maintaining on-premise and cloud-based servers, storage, and backup systems.
    • Monitor IT systems for performance and security issues.
    • Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to improve team efficiency.
  • Compliance and Security
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory rules and standards such as HIPAA.
    • Ensure compliance with modern cybersecurity standards and practices.
  • Technical support
    • Serve as technical support lead and provide guidance to team members.
    • Manage tickets using ZenDesk ticketing system.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Stay up-to-date with industry and software trends and advancements.
    • Recommend improvements to existing systems. 
    • Participate in training and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

Requirements

  • Informatics or other related degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Over 3 years of related professional experience.
  • Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Powershell, and basic networking (DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
  • Demonstrated history of working cooperatively in a team environment.
  • A valid drivers’ license with an insurable [clean] driving record.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; excellent attention to detail and experience coordinating multiple activities.
  • Ability to interact with employees, customers, and vendors in a friendly and positive manner.
  • Availability to work 5 days/ 40 hours.

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear, use hands to feel, handle, adjust and reach.
    • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
