The IT Intern is responsible for imaging and deploying equipment, setting up workstations, and maintaining records. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure while multitasking with precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices such as routers, printers, etc.
  • Check computer hardware to ensure functionality.
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
  • Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance around others' schedules.
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems by repairing or replacing parts, debugging, etc.
  • Maintain records and logs of equipment.


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, currently pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of Microsoft and Apple operating systems
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer service skills and patience
  • Pleasant phone skills and demeanor
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Physical Requirements

  • Minimum manual labor is involved, the ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • This position requires candidates to have unrestricted work authorization in the United States.
