About the Internship:

• Tara is seeking a freelance podcast production intern to support Burn the Script as she prepares for and launches Season One.
• This is a hands-on opportunity for a self-starter who’s passionate about audio storytelling, women-led media, and producing high-quality, impactful content.

You’ll Gain Experience In:

• Assisting with audio editing and sound mixing Organizing and preparing raw audio files for production
• Helping manage the publishing workflow across podcast platforms
• Coordinating show notes and episode transcripts
• Creating reels and stills for Instagram and LinkedIn Researching potential sponsors and partnership leads
• Supporting podcast launch strategy and execution → reviewing analytics
• Learning the ins and outs of launching a podcast from the ground up

Qualifications:

Ideal For Someone Who:

• Is curious about podcasting and audio production
• Has basic knowledge of tools like Audacity, GarageBand, Descript, or Adobe Audition (or is eager to learn)
• Has an eye for visual storytelling and experience with Canva or social content creation
• Loves supporting women-led media and purpose-driven storytelling
• Can commit 5–7 hours per week (flexible)
• Communicates clearly and meets deadlines
