The Fine Jewelry Team is responsible for overseeing and curating Stuller’s fine jewelry product assortment and strategizing the presentation of these products that align with the market trends and customer needs.
The Fine Jewelry Assistant Category Manager supports the creation and development of new products, coordinates marketing initiatives, and assists in managing the daily operations of the Fine Jewelry category under the direction and guidance of the Category Manager.
This role collaborates with both internal teams and external partners to curate a jewelry collection that aligns with market trends and our customer's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize reporting tools to analyze the business and maximize profitability within the category.
Prioritize and meet deadlines of numerous tasks and ongoing projects.
Analyze market trends and customer needs to guide product decisions and identify assortment gaps.
Monitor the marketplace for competitive product information, especially pricing, recommending and instituting changes accordingly.
Partner with marketing to create and execute promotional strategies, including materials for new product launches.
Manage the creation and proofing of seasonal brochures, catalogs, and other marketing collateral.
Assist in managing vendor relationships related to procuring new products.
Partner with the sales team to educate on new product offerings.
The ability to satisfactorily adhere to company attendance policies.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (4-year college degree or equivalent) in Merchandising or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience is acceptable.
Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Eagerness to follow directions and take ownership over projects.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of jewelry and jewelry manufacturing processes
