What this job is all about:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for performing financial analysis and reporting on business planning, performance, and results on various business units.  They derive insights from the analytical process and translate them into actionable recommendations and initiatives for improving the business. 

In this job, you’ll do things like:

• Design and develop processes to identify meaningful trends from various financial data sources and communicate findings to management
• Contribute to the corporate and business unit budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
• Collaborate with department managers to identify specific analytical projects. Projects will include analysis of business strategies, products, promotions, pricing and manufacturing processes.
• Develop and maintain financial performance benchmarking data and perform analytics on market trends
• Collaborate with the IT department to maintain and implement software as it pertains to the Accounting & Finance department
• Contribute to the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close process and perform financial reconciliations, reporting, and analytics as requested

Qualifications:

Must-haves to apply for this job:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years’ work experience in an accounting or analytical role
• Knowledge of automated accounting systems & Microsoft Office Applications
