- Superior Completion Services is excited to seek an Inventory Warehouseman in our Lafayette, LA. office.

- As an Inventory Warehouseman, you’ll take charge of inventory accuracy, use your tech skills to keep records up-to-date, and master our cycle counts.
- You’ll be hands-on, pulling items for orders, documenting details, and ensuring smooth workflow with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- You’ll be part of a close-knit team, working together to meet production targets and occasionally communicating with supervisors, co-workers, customers, or vendors to keep things running smoothly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management - Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, tracking, stocking, and conducting regular cycle counts. Ensure that all finished products are used in rotation: First in first out.
- Receiving and Unloading - Warehousemen receive incoming shipments, inspect them for accuracy and damage, and unload goods from trucks and containers.
- Computer Skills - Utilizing computer software for locating part locations within the warehouse. Making inventory transactions, transfers, and adjustments within the company database.
- Shipping and Receiving - Warehousemen prepare outgoing shipments, generate shipping labels, and load products onto trucks or carriers for delivery.
- Order Picking and Packing - Selecting items from stock to fulfill customer orders and prepare them to be issued to the assembly shop. Scanning completed documentation into the Company database.
- Quality Control - Provide outstanding service to our customers. Inspecting products to ensure they are not damaged, defective, or have any other discrepancies. Any issues are to be reported to the Quality department.
- Equipment and Operation - They may operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move and transport goods from within the warehouse.
- Organization - Keeping the warehouse organized, ensuring items are stored efficiently, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment are part of the role.
- Documentation - Maintain proper documentation on all orders, shipments, receipts, and inventory transactions. Scanning completed documentation into the company database.
- Communication - Coordinating with other team members, supervisors, and sometimes customers of suppliers regarding inventory status and order fulfillment.
- Problem-Solving - Identifying and resolving issues related to damaged goods, missing items, or discrepancies in inventory.
- Safety - Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Participate in the company Sharp Card Program. Report any injuries, accidents, or unsafe conditions to a Manager or Safety Coordinator immediately. They may need to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, or vendors regarding orders and inventory.
- Physical Stamina - Warehouse work often involves lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects, so physical fitness is important.
- Teamwork - Collaborate with coworkers to meet productivity goals and ensure smooth warehouse operations. Assist in training new employees.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred, or a minimum of three years of facility and/or operations experience in the oil and gas industry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Technical Skills:
- Good verbal and written communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to safely drive all types of forklifts required for handling completion tools and equipment.
- Operating various office equipment: personal computer, copy machine, and telephone system.
- Monitoring/assessing the performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
- Identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Determining necessary resources, time, and materials for a project.
- Planning and tracking facility-related project timelines.
- Efficiently managing the resources, time, and materials of the division.
- Forecasting necessary project resources.
- Leading, directing, and mentoring individuals to accomplish common goals.
- Must have the ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries, complaints, or employee situations. Ability to effectively present controversial or complex topics to upper management, subordinates, and groups of employees.
- Applicable PPE is required on both facilities, Commission Blvd. and South Park locations.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations about facility and materials management.
