About the Role

We're hiring a Facilities Coordinator to help keep our cafés running smoothly, safely, and guest-ready across multiple locations. This is a hands-on, in-the-field role for a proactive self-starter who takes ownership, spots problems before they grow, and communicates well with our office team. It's a growth-oriented position — you'll partner closely with the office day to day, with more responsibility and independence coming performance allows.

What You'll Do

• Visit café locations regularly to keep facilities clean, safe, and in good working order
• Perform hands-on repairs and preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Coordinate and supervise outside service providers when specialized work is needed
• Identify maintenance and safety issues early and help develop a plan to resolve them
• Meet vendors on site, communicate scope of work, and support pricing decisions with the office
• Transport parts, supplies, and equipment between locations as needed
• Represent the company on site during inspections and facility audits
• Handle light remodels and smaller improvement projects, and assist with new-location build-outs
• Keep the office updated with clear, timely field communication
• Navigate in a fast-paced restaurant environment without impeding operations
• Face-to-face interactions with operations team members 
• Lifting, moving, and carrying heavy equipment  

Schedule & Logistics

• Full-time, minimum 40 hours per week — a results focused role that may call for some flexibility when time is critical
• Company vehicle provided for travel between café locations, storage, supply stores, main office and various locations as needed
• Occasional emergency call-outs on an as-needed basis
• Covers current and future locations across Lafayette, Youngsville, Broussard, Carencro, New Iberia, Lake Charles, and Gonzales

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $45,000–$50,000 per year, based on experience and skillset
• Up to $300 per month toward a company-offered health insurance plan (after 3 months)
• Paid vacation (starting after 3 months) 50% employee discount at company owned Tropical Smoothie Café locations

Qualifications:

What We're Looking For

• A self-starter who is accountable, detail-oriented, and takes ownership
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot independently
• Experience in maintenance, HVAC, refrigeration, or a related trade
• Dependable, professional, and a clear communicator
• Comfortable working independently across multiple locations
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Willingness to learn and grow
