Key Responsibilities:
Implement Shingo Model Principles: Utilize the Shingo Model to drive operational excellence, focusing on principles like cultural enablers, continuous process improvement, and enterprise alignment.
Process Analysis & Improvement: Conduct comprehensive process mapping, identify inefficiencies, and develop strategies for continuous improvement. Implement changes through pilot projects and full-scale rollouts.
Collaboration & Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, facilitate collaboration between departments, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Training & Development: Develop and deliver training programs on the Shingo Model and other improvement methodologies. Mentor and coach staff to build internal capabilities.
Performance Metrics: Design and implement performance metrics to track improvements, align with organizational goals, and ensure sustainability of changes.
Strategic Planning: Align continuous improvement initiatives with organizational strategy, ensuring that projects support long-term business objectives.
Change Management: Lead change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing resistance to new processes and methods.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure that all continuous improvement activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement technology solutions that support continuous improvement efforts, such as automation tools or data analytics platforms.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including management, employees, suppliers, and customers, to ensure alignment and support for continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience in continuous improvement roles.
Expertise in the Shingo Model of Operational Excellence.
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or related methodologies.
