Position Description:

  • CGI is seeking an Advantage Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Human Resource Management (HRM) consultant specialized in Payroll to join our team!

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Partner with client delivery teams for the implementation of the Human Resource Management (HRM) components of the CGI Advantage ERP solution
  • Prioritize initiatives based on the business needs and requirements
  • Bring expertise in HRM including but not limited to Position Control, Payroll, Time & Leave, Personnel Management, and Benefits/Deductions
  • Collaborate closely with clients and co-workers in the public sector to document business processes/requirements for HRM activities, recommend process improvements, configure the HRM application for client use, and test the application configuration
  • Provide status reports to project managers and monitor the timely completion of scheduled tasks
  • Balance attention to detail while keeping the big picture in mind



Qualifications:

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • 7+ years of experience configuring and/or managing ERP HRM applications, with a strong focus on Payroll
  • 7+ years of experience in consulting or system implementation of HR ERP solutions (e.g., SAP, Workday, PeopleSoft)
  • In-depth knowledge of Payroll processes, compliance, and system integration
  • Critical thinking skills to identify the downstream impact of system configuration changes
  • Ability to assess requirements vs. baseline system offerings to identify and document fits versus gaps within the new application
  • Develop/maintain test plans, conduct system testing, and document results
  • Experience with Agile implementation methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work closely with clients
  • Ability to manage multiple, often competing, priorities and clients effectively
  • Excellent tracking and prioritization skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on knowledge sharing and professionalism, even in high-stress situations
  • Comfortable working in a non-conventional environment with virtual teams across time zones, including India
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
  • Experience working with public sector clients is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools such as SharePoint and JIRA
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) or equivalent tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline
