Position Description:
- CGI is seeking an Advantage Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Human Resource Management (HRM) consultant specialized in Payroll to join our team!

Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Partner with client delivery teams for the implementation of the Human Resource Management (HRM) components of the CGI Advantage ERP solution
- Prioritize initiatives based on the business needs and requirements
- Bring expertise in HRM including but not limited to Position Control, Payroll, Time & Leave, Personnel Management, and Benefits/Deductions
- Collaborate closely with clients and co-workers in the public sector to document business processes/requirements for HRM activities, recommend process improvements, configure the HRM application for client use, and test the application configuration
- Provide status reports to project managers and monitor the timely completion of scheduled tasks
- Balance attention to detail while keeping the big picture in mind
Qualifications:
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- 7+ years of experience configuring and/or managing ERP HRM applications, with a strong focus on Payroll
- 7+ years of experience in consulting or system implementation of HR ERP solutions (e.g., SAP, Workday, PeopleSoft)
- In-depth knowledge of Payroll processes, compliance, and system integration
- Critical thinking skills to identify the downstream impact of system configuration changes
- Ability to assess requirements vs. baseline system offerings to identify and document fits versus gaps within the new application
- Develop/maintain test plans, conduct system testing, and document results
- Experience with Agile implementation methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work closely with clients
- Ability to manage multiple, often competing, priorities and clients effectively
- Excellent tracking and prioritization skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on knowledge sharing and professionalism, even in high-stress situations
- Comfortable working in a non-conventional environment with virtual teams across time zones, including India
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
- Experience working with public sector clients is highly desirable
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as SharePoint and JIRA
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) or equivalent tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline
