The Role
At Beginning of Knowledge, we believe every child is full of potential—and we’re looking for nurturing, energetic Early Childhood Educators to help guide our little learners on their journey. Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment for infants, toddlers, and/or preschool-aged children
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with developmental milestones and school goals
- Support children’s social-emotional growth by teaching positive behaviors and modeling emotional regulation
- Conduct regular observations and assessments to track each child’s growth and document developmental progress
- Establish strong relationships with children and communicate regularly with parents/guardians about milestones and concerns
- Follow all licensing regulations, health/safety guidelines, and center policies
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure smooth classroom transitions, shared responsibilities, and an engaging curriculum
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and required professional development
Work Environment
- Active, hands-on classroom setting
- Must be able to lift 30+ pounds, sit on the floor, and move quickly in response to children’s needs
- Requires flexibility and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range: 11.00 per hour
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- CDA, Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent credential preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to pass a background check and complete all required onboarding training
- CPR/First Aid Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working with children in a structured setting preferred
- Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
