We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Workers (DSWs) to join our team in. As a DSW, you will provide personalized support, promote independence, and ensure safety and well-being for residents across various care settings. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patient health by taking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition
• Support medication administration following proper protocols and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring dietary requirements are met
• Maintain accurate care plans and document patient progress regularly
• Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance
• Engage residents in social activities and therapeutic programs to promote mental and emotional well-being

Salary Range: 9.00 to 9.01 hourly

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer’s, memory care, autism spectrum disorders, and hospice care practices
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards
• Ability to perform CPR and First Aid confidently in emergency situations
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized support
• Excellent patient observation skills to monitor changes in condition or behavior
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting with mobility needs
• Compassionate communication skills tailored to diverse populations including seniors and individuals with cognitive impairments
