Position Description:

CGI Federal is a leader in IT and business consulting services, committed to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to our clients. We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects by leveraging their expertise in Linux-based systems and cloud technologies.

As a DevOps Engineer at CGI Federal, you will be responsible for understanding the overall CI/CD pipeline as well as deploying and configuring services using Infrastructure as a Service providers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems, while driving continuous improvement and automation.

This position is located in our Lafayette, LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Implementing and executing processes to create and fully maintain automated CI / CD pipelines for application deployments
• Manage version control systems
• Configure, build, deploy, and manage containers
• Provide technical expertise to ensure the ongoing support, maintenance, and optimization of client applications.
• Configure and manage Linux-based servers to serve a dynamic website.

Salary Range: $80,600.00 - $128,400.00

Qualifications:

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 3+ Years' experience m implementing a cloud-based solution
• 3+ Years experience with Git/Gitlab, Terraform (or similar IaC tool) and AWS
• Possess experience working in a dynamic, highly collaborative environment
• Be comfortable with Agile approaches.
• Have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Possess strong troubleshooting skills
