Your future duties and responsibilities:

• We are looking for a proactive and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the support and maintenance of a suite of Content Mangement System (CMS) and DevOps platform tools, as well as a legacy application for a government client.
• These platforms and tools are mission critical as they are utilized across the entire government agency, so the right candidate for this role is expected to lead the Operations and Maintenace (O&M) activities of the platforms and applications.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• To be successful in this role, the right candidate must possess the following qualifications:
• 5 years of professional experience performing similar work related to DevOps, CMS or Legacy Application O&M support
• At least 2 years professional experience with Atlassian Tools
• Experience managing a DevOps team
• Experience implementing and executing processes to create, and fully maintain, automated CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
• Experience working in a dynamic, highly collaborative environment
• Be comfortable with Agile approaches; particularly Kanban.
• Must have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and strong troubleshooting skills
• Ideal candidates must be able to work during the government agency's core business hours of 8AM - 4PM eastern standard time.

•  Confluence, JIRA, Confluence & Jira Plug-Ins
• GitLab Platform, containers, CI/CD processes
• HP/Autonomy TeamSite and HP/Autonomy Open Deploy
• WordPress
• PHP, Python, Java, and MySQL
