Position Description:

• CGI has an immediate need for a Data Analyst/Tester to join our team.
• This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry.
• We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.
• This hybrid position can be located at any CGI office in the U.S, preferred location is Plano, TX, Reston, VA or Lafayette, LA.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• We are seeking a strong Data Analyst/ Tester who has worked heavily on backend data validations who can come up to speed on the domain knowledge quickly.
• Position will be part of an Agile team as Data Analyst/tester on a project to develop and enhance a large complex portfolio.
• Position will need to create SQL queries to analyze and understand existing data characteristics.
• Position will create test plan and test cases to compare data sets before and after data source changes to ensure the data requirements are implemented correctly.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 6+ years of strong in Data Analysis, heavily worked on backend application data validations.
• 6+ years of Hands-On strong Experience in writing complex SQL statements
• Experience in data analysis tools - Micro Strategy (is a plus)
• Manual testing/ Data validation.
• Business Analysis experience will be a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be self-motivated with strong work ethics and team player
• Must be a quick learner and willing to learn.

•  Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
