Job Description:
- The Claims Specialist serves as a contact person between new and existing transportation providers/mileage reimbursement members to answer questions and resolve any claims/billing related issues.
Essential Functions:
- Informs Transportation Providers on proper claims submission procedures
- Identify and resolve problems with Transportation Provider
- Answers emails within a specified time frame as determined by Medi Trans, LLC.
- Checks emails and returns responses daily
- Reaches out to internal and external departments as needed
- Adheres to and ensures all company policies are maintained
- Performs other administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Education
- High School Graduate
- Experience
- Previous experience in claims processing and training is a plus
Skills & Abilities:
- Computer Skills
- Ten Key skills required
- Superior Customer Service and Phone skills
- Must be able to work independently or with a team
- Ability to quickly learn new technology
- Must be able to understand and follow complex instructions
- Ability to accurately type 35 words per minute
