Job Description:

  • The Claims Specialist serves as a contact person between new and existing transportation providers/mileage reimbursement members to answer questions and resolve any claims/billing related issues.


Essential Functions:

  • Informs Transportation Providers on proper claims submission procedures
  • Identify and resolve problems with Transportation Provider
  • Answers emails within a specified time frame as determined by Medi Trans, LLC.
  • Checks emails and returns responses daily
  • Reaches out to internal and external departments as needed
  • Adheres to and ensures all company policies are maintained
  • Performs other administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Education
  • High School Graduate
  • Experience
  • Previous experience in claims processing and training is a plus

  • Computer Skills
  • Ten Key skills required
  • Superior Customer Service and Phone skills
  • Must be able to work independently or with a team
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology
  • Must be able to understand and follow complex instructions
  • Ability to accurately type 35 words per minute
