The Combination Fitter/Welder will be responsible for fitting and welding components used in the fabrication of ASME pressure vessels and process equipment. The ideal candidate must be proficient in multiple welding processes, capable of interpreting construction drawings and P&IDs, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in pressure vessel or heavy industrial fabrication
• Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII Division 1 Pressure Vessel fabrication
• Proficiency with the following welding processes:
  • GMAW (MIG)
  • FCAW (Flux Core)
  • SAW (Sub-Arc)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and P&IDs
• Experience performing layout, fit-up, and assembly of pressure vessel components
• Must be able to pass welding tests
• Must pass drug screening and background check

Preferred Qualifications:

• GTAW (TIG) welding experience (preferred but not required)
• Experience working in ASME code fabrication shops
• Familiarity with quality control and inspection requirements
