CNC / Production Machinist

Schedule: Full-time | Approx. 6am–4pm (may start as early as 4am) | Overtime & some weekends possible

Job Summary: Set up and operate lathes and/or mills to machine metallic and non-metallic parts according to blueprints and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints and determine machining sequence and tolerances
• Set up and operate mills and/or lathes
• Select tooling, fixtures, and materials
• Measure and inspect parts using precision tools
• Adjust machine settings to maintain quality
• Perform basic machine maintenance and keep work area clean
• Follow all safety and PPE requirements

Work Environment: Manufacturing shop environment with moving machinery; may be exposed to wet or humid conditions.

Equipment Used: Mills, lathes, forklifts, cranes, measuring tools, PPE

Salary Range: Pay: $18–$22/hr DOE

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in machining preferred or 2+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Experience setting up and operating lathes and/or mills
• Proficient with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, tape measures)
• Strong attention to detail and mathematical skills
• Manual dexterity and ability to work with machinery
• Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE
