Full job description:

• Depending on the hire, this position may be hired on through a staffing company for a period of time. Pay will DOE. This is a non-exempt hourly position.

Responsibilities:

• To operate CNC Mill, load and download programs, making simple adjustments such as feeds, speeds, depth of cuts and proof out parts.

Duties:

• Set up machine with minimum assistance. Tool up machine, load and download programs.
• Make corrections with approval and minimum assistance. Make necessary offset adjustments.
• Responsible for inspecting parts during batch runs and collect all times for accurate costing.
• Must be able to run machine unassisted.
• Maintain neat housekeeping.
• Know and understand MSM Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
• Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of MSM.
• Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Salary Range: $22 - $26 /hr DOE

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience required Ability to run CNC horizontal or vertical mills
• Ability to modify/edit G-Code at the machine
• Read and interpret drawings
• Full understanding of mics, calipers and other measuring tools
• Ability to program a plus but not required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
